The Rode RODECaster Duo (Black) is a 2-mic compact production console. It is the smaller sibling of the RODECaster Pro II, sized for solo podcasters, streamers, and musicians who don't need 4 guest channels. Two combo XLR / 1/4" inputs, multitrack recording, APHEX voice processing, and a touchscreen. It is the same brain as the Pro II in a half-size desktop.

FAQ

Duo or Pro II: which one?

Pro II has 4 XLR preamps for 4 guests at the same table. Duo has 2 and is roughly half the desk footprint. For solo / one-guest podcasts, the Duo is enough; for a regular roundtable, get the Pro II.

Do I need a computer to record?

No. It records multitrack to a microSD card on its own. The computer is only needed when you want to stream live or pull stems off via USB.

Will the built-in Wireless GO receiver replace my external GO II?

Yes. Pair Wireless GO II or Wireless PRO transmitters straight to the Duo. No need for the separate GO II receiver on the desk.
