The SmallRig 4253B is a dummy battery for Sony bodies that take the NP-FZ100 (a7 III/IV, a7S III, a7R V, FX3, FX30, ZV-E1), with a D-Tap connector on the cable. Run the camera from a V-mount or other D-Tap source and the in-body battery stops being the limit on take length.

Made for narrative blocks, livestreams, time-lapse, or any shoot where you're not picking the camera up between takes.
