Category: Cable

A coiled LANC extension with a 3.5 mm male connector on one end and a female on the other.

SHAPE builds it to run between their remote extension handle and a Sony FX6, so record start/stop stays on the handle instead of on the camera body.

Specifications

  • Brand: SHAPE
  • Manufacturer SKU: LANCCO14
  • Connectors: 3.5 mm LANC, male to female
  • Length: 10 in coiled, roughly 20 in extended
  • Intended pairing: SHAPE remote extension handle to Sony FX6

If your camera or grip uses a different connector or control protocol, this is not the right cable. Filmgear Canada ships Canada-wide from Vancouver.

John ★★★★★

Finally got this for my FX6 rig and the coil is tight enough to stay out of the way but still reaches the handle easily. The male-to-female design means I didn't need an extra coupler, which saved me some hassle. Works exactly as expected for start/stop control.

Daniel P. ★★★★★

The coiled section stretches just enough to reach from my handle to the camera without any slack dangling, and the 3.5mm connectors click in solidly with no wiggle. Start/stop has worked flawlessly on every take so far.

Adam ★★★★★

The coiled cable fits perfectly between my FX6 and remote handle, and the 10-inch length keeps things tidy without too much slack. Start/stop works flawlessly every time.
