The Selens SCF2-SU-B is a black sun umbrella for outdoor shooting. Used to shade a camera operator, talent, or gear (monitor, focus puller’s station) on hot sunny exteriors so the crew can still read the screen and the gear does not overheat.

The black canopy keeps stray reflected colour off the subject, unlike a light-coloured umbrella which can tint a face or product when used close in.
