The RØDE PSA1+ Pro is the upgraded version of RØDE's PSA1 desktop broadcast boom arm. The "+" version uses parallelogram springs designed for quieter, smoother movement, and is built around the heavier broadcast and condenser mics now common on podcast setups.

If you've been frustrated by a budget arm squeaking on camera or sagging under a Shure SM7B / RØDE NT1, the PSA1+ is the upgrade that fixes both. Internal cable routing, desk clamp included, standard mic threads.

Key features

  • Parallelogram boom design with quieter spring action
  • Built for heavier broadcast and large-diaphragm condenser mics
  • Internal cable routing
  • Desk clamp included; standard 3/8" thread with 5/8" adapter

Kevin ★★★★★

The parallelogram springs make adjusting my mic position completely silent—no more of that annoying creaking I had with my old arm. It holds my heavy condenser mic perfectly steady, even when I swing it into a different spot mid-stream.

Emma ★★★★★

The parallelogram springs make adjusting the arm feel almost weightless—no more fighting to get the mic to hold its position. Even when I swing it fully out for a podcast setup, it stays exactly where I leave it, which is more than I can say for my last arm.

Edward ★★★★☆

I'm really impressed with how solid this boom arm feels once it's clamped down—no wobble at all even with my heavier mic. The internal spring system makes adjustments a breeze, though I wish the tension knob had a bit more grip.
