Category: Camera Monitors

The Hollyland Pyro 5 is a 5-inch on-camera monitor with a wireless video receiver built into the body. Instead of mounting a separate receiver next to your monitor, you mount one unit that does both. See the camera feed wirelessly, no extra cable run.

It is pitched at directors, focus pullers, and second shooters who want a clean wireless monitoring position without piecing together a monitor plus a receiver plus their power and cable rig.

Key features

  • 5-inch monitor with integrated wireless video receive.
  • HDMI and SDI on the body for wired tie-in when you need it.
  • Pairs with Hollyland Pyro-series transmitters as part of the Pyro ecosystem.

Ruby Z. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about how well the wireless would work in crowded environments, but the Pyro 5 held a steady signal on set without any glitches. The 5-inch screen is clear and bright enough for outdoor use, which surprised me for a monitor this compact.

Madison O. ★★★★★

The built-in wireless receiver is the whole reason I grabbed this, and it saved me from juggling an extra transmitter and cable on my rig. Picture quality on the 5-inch screen is clean enough for my run-and-gun work. Took a little fiddling to pair it the first time, but it's been stable since.

Madison ★★★★★

This little monitor has been a game-changer on set since it combines the receiver and screen into one unit. The 5-inch display is crisp and easy to see, and not having to deal with a separate receiver really cleans up my rig.
