Category: Monitors

The Atomos Ninja TX is a camera-to-cloud monitor and recorder. It gives you an on-camera HDR monitor, a ProRes/H.265 recorder, and a built-in path to push proxies straight to the cloud (Frame.io and Atomos Cloud Studio) so editors can start cutting while you're still shooting.

Useful for productions that need same-day turnaround (news, sports, branded content, multi-cam corporate), or any shoot where the editor isn't on set. If you don't need cloud delivery, the standard Ninja line covers the monitoring and recording side at a lower cost.

Available from Filmgear Canada, with Canada-wide shipping.

Adam ★★★★★

The HDR screen is bright enough to check exposure outdoors, which I didn’t expect from a recorder this compact. Setup took about five minutes, and the proxies landed in Frame.io before I even packed up the camera.

Aurora ★★★★★

I've been using this to push proxies directly to Frame.io from set, and it's been a total game-changer for my remote collaborators. The ProRes recording is rock solid, and the HDR monitor is plenty bright even outdoors.

Lucy R. ★★★★★

Setting up the HDR monitor on my rig was surprisingly easy, and the brightness is great even outdoors. The ProRes recording straight to an SSD has been flawless for my shoots.
