Shot wide open at T1.5, the bokeh is incredibly smooth and the image stays sharp across the frame — exactly what I needed for low-light narrative work.

The focus ring’s dampened throw feels exactly right for pulling focus by hand, and the T1.5 keeps the frame bright even in dim interiors. I’ve only used it on a Sony E body for two shoots, but the housing’s solid, compact build makes it a no-brainer for tight gimbal setups.

The focus ring has that smooth, dampened feel you'd expect from a much pricier cinema lens. I've been using it for narrative work and the 21mm field of view is perfect for tight interior shots.
